Newark public relations specialist develops international aura
NEWARK-based AURA Public Relations is celebrating its 10th
anniversary with the launch of an international promotional
service. It follows the success of a major European campaign
for Doncaster firm Palram, who designed and supplied the roof
glazing to the state-of-the-art Olympic Stadium in Athens.
Katherine Rushton
has joined AURA PR as international account manager to provide
a PR service to companies who need an international presence,
or to overseas companies operating in the UK. The service
will include media relations, copywriting, translation, research,
event management and design and print.
Companies recognise export opportunities but not many
have the resources in-house to promote themselves outside
their domestic market, she said. With AURA PRs
new international media relations service, it is now possible
for both British and foreign companies in the UK to work with
a local partner to fulfil their international business objectives.
As an accomplished linguist, Katherine used her language
skills to promote Palram¹s new solar technology glazing product
in Europe. She achieved coverage in a number of French, Spanish,
German and Italian publications.
Before joining the company she worked in the busy government
affairs department at Reuters in London. Alongside her BA
Hons in European Studies and MSc in European Politics she
has qualifications in journalism, proofreading, editing and
teaching English.
AURA PR celebrates a decade of success this month. Julia
Smith established the company in 1994 and today the team of
seven PR professionals - including two in-house journalists
- services a wide range of PR accounts including central and
local government agencies, blue-chip companies with turnovers
of up to £400m, manufacturing, logistics groups and more.
With the launch of the international service AURA PR believes
it will grow from strength to strength.
